DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES

Health Resources and Services
Administration

  Rockville MD 20857

On behalf of the Health Resources and Services Administration, and the Office of Rural Health Policy, I invite you to attend both the upcoming Rural Access to Emergency Devices grantee and Rural EMS & Trauma Technical Assistance Center (REMSTTAC) town hall meetings on October 4-5, 2004. These events will be held concurrently at the same location with the National Association of State EMS Director's (NASEMSD) Annual Meeting at the Yarrow Mountain Resort outside of Park City, Utah.

As these meetings are separate from the NASEMSD Annual Meeting, please take a moment to fill out the attached registration form and return it to Heather Hansen at REMSTTAC: 866.587.6370 or heather.hansen@remsttac.org.

Please also find the attached agenda and registration form for both meetings. We understand that it has become increasingly difficult for many grantees to obtain approval for out-of-state travel, thus, we wanted to provide a value-added experience by combining these events at the same location of NASEMSD's Annual Meeting. We hope you find these meetings useful and wish you a productive and educational experience in Utah!!

Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact either Heather Hansen as above or Blanc Fuertes, Rural Access to Emergency Devices project officer, at 301.443.0612 or bfuertes@hrsa.gov.

Sincerely,

Marcia K. Brand, Ph.D.
Director
HRSA Office of Rural Health Policy
