Synopsis

The Recovery Audit Contractors (RACs) are beginning automated and complex reviews this fall. Once identified, processes should then be put in place to prevent future errors from occurring.

Session Objectives

Participants will gain an understanding of what areas the RACs are targeting and why. The presentation will provide information to hospital staff as to how they can identify these target areas in their facilities and be prepared to respond to the RACs. Participants will also learn how to put processes in place to prevent future errors.
