Project Purpose:
The purpose of this project is to improve the emotional and physical wellbeing of our rural community residents by providing individual and group support and education to people with diabetes and/or obesity. 

Project Service Area:
This project targets low-income, uninsured or underinsured residents in the rural communities of Hood River, Wasco, Klickitat and Skamania counties, with special attention to Hispanics.  Program activities are directed toward people who struggle with weight management and/or diabetes and whose mental health is interfering with their disease self-management.
