Project Purpose:
The purpose of this program is to diagnose, treat, and rehabilitate Black lung patients and others with occupationally related pulmonary diseases. 

Project Service Area:
Miners’ Colfax Medical Center offers the only mobile Black Lung Clinic program traveling throughout the state of New Mexico to over 25 different sites.  Through the mobile medical unit, we cover a service area of 121,666 square miles.  We also have a permanent clinic site in Raton, which is located in northeastern New Mexico.
