Project Purpose:
The purpose of this project is to 1) provide community education about the symptoms of postpartum depression and how women can receive help; 2) improve the efficacy of the cross-disciplinary linkages between the mental health and primary care providers serving postpartum women; and 3) increase the number of postpartum women utilizing behavioral health services.

Project Service Area:
The Project for Perinatal and Postpartum Depression Detection (P2D2) is a collaborative effort of the partner organizations of the Regional Behavioral Health Network (RBHN) and local health departments in a three-county region of rural east central Illinois.
