Project Purpose:
The purpose of the project is to create an oral health care system.  Goals of the project include: 1) demonstrating an organizational capacity to lead and champion a prevention focused oral health outreach initiative for families with young children, 2) offering increased access to oral health prevention services and education programs for underserved families with young children, and 3) implementing an oral health public awareness outreach prevention campaign in the twelve county service area in Northwest Iowa.

Project Service Area:
The service area of this project is twelve counties in rural Northwest Iowa:  Buena Vista, Clay, Dickinson, Emmet, Hamilton, Humboldt, O’Brien, Osceola, Palo Alto, Pocahontas, Webster, and Wright.  The target population is families with young children ages 0-8, residing in rural Northwest Iowa.
